A Different Kind of Therapy
Maybe you've spent years trying to understand yourself, your relationships, or experiences that never quite fit into neat categories. Perhaps you've tried therapy before but something about it never quite clicked.
I'm Jessica Witmer, a licensed mental health counselor who believes good therapy should make room for the whole person. I work especially well with thoughtful, creative, and unconventional people navigating trauma, anxiety, and life's complexities.
I also love working with people who are in a season of expansion — people who are building something, questioning old beliefs, outgrowing familiar roles, and discovering that the structures that once defined their lives may no longer be big enough for who they're becoming.
My work focuses on complex and developmental trauma, PTSD, attachment wounds, anxiety, and experiences that can leave people feeling disconnected from themselves.
My approach integrates EMDR, somatic and experiential therapies, hypnotherapy, and parts-oriented work. I offer traditional weekly counseling as well as extended sessions and intensive therapy for those seeking a different pace or depth of treatment.
I'm comfortable with curiosity, complexity, and mystery, and I welcome clients who are, too. Together, we'll find an approach that fits you, rather than forcing you into one that doesn't.
Sometimes, the old box was simply too small.
